Translations

There were many people who volunteered to translate. Thanks!

I’ll send the translators a text file with all the translation strings when I’m done with the next build.

Currently, the following languages are backed up by a kind soul:

(English, Dutch), French, German, Spanish, Traditional Chinese, Italian.

    Hi !

    First, let me just thank you for developing such a beautiful, easy-to-use & feature-rich application.

    I’m a Chinese junior major in biology at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, China. I’d like to contribute localizing Pathway in Chinese Simplified.

    Hi,

    I’m enjoying using your software when brainstorming. I used to do similar stuff on note pad with paper and pencil but being able to use
    Wiki just expanded the thoughts.

    I would like to contribute as Japanese translator. I am fluent in both English and Japanese, as you can see in my website. I have translated movie scripts for subtitles and scientific papers.

    let me know.

    Hi!

    Don’t get me wrong – the German localization is great but it is not really “Mac-like”… There are a couple of inconsitencies especially in the menues (eg. “Datei” instead of the usual “Ablage” as found in the Mac OS Finder, and “Einfügen” along with “Speichern” instead of the Apple Guidelines conform “Einsetzen” and “Sichern”)

    Could you pleas fix that? I am often disappointed by Windows jargon in Mac apps :-)

    Else everything is fine!

    Regards
    Richard

    Richard, the German translation was not done by me but by a volunteer. Could you send me a list of changes, then I can make those myself :) Thanks!
