v0.6 (Nov. 25th, 2006)
Features
- Multiple wiki support. You can add any MediaWiki-based wiki to Pathway. Please keep me updated if/when a wiki stutters, so I can investigate the matter.
- Wiki sidebars can be hidden to maximize screen real estate.
- Added double-clicking and a toggle button to collapse the page network.
- Images are now opened in a separate window. Holding the option key while clicking an image opens it in a separate node.
- Added a graph layout algorithm based on graphviz, with two layout styles available.
- The page network can now be detached from the main window. This is especially useful if you have a wide screen monitor.
- When adding a new page to the page network, Pathway will go through all the links on that page and connect them to pages that already exist. This behaviour can be turned off in the preferences.
- Added a contextual menu for page nodes, to make it easier to export or open a page.
- Additional translations: French, Hungarian. Translations to German, Italian and Traditional Chinese are underway. If you want to translate to another language, help is greatly appreciated!
- Sparkle support: you can now update Pathway from within the application.
Other changes/tweaks
- Window positions/sizes are now saved.
- The page network can be scrolled trough with a scroll wheel or trackpad (hold shift to scroll horizontally, or scroll with the arrow keys)
- The page network can be zoomed in or out for overview/detail purposes. (Use ? + the scroll wheel/ up-down arrow keys)
- Double clicking a node now centers it.
- Page list is now aligned left. (and has a nicer selection gradient)
- Node selections are represented by a full outline.
- Mouse event behaviour conforms better to standards.
- Wiki pages are cached to maximize loading performance.
- Going back/forward through pages is more robust now.
Bug fixes
- Fixed a rare case where Pathway would auto-redirect from pages with only one link.
- Fixed a bug where Pathway would crash when trying to customize the toolbar.
- Fixed a bug where multiple documents would insert a page instead of only the active document.
- Fixed a bug where Pathway would draw multiple arcs between two page nodes.
